To continue our interview series highlighting minority professionals in the healthcare field, we have Dr. Keira Kimbrough-Waters

Dr. Kimbrough-Waters is the Director of Pharmacy for a Critical Illness Recovery Hospital in Augusta, Georgia with over a decade of successful experience in clinical pharmacy, student mentorship and hospital management experience. She received her BS in Chemistry from Villa Julie College, Doctor of Pharmacy from Temple University School of Pharmacy and MBA from Augusta University Hull College of Business.
She has pivoted her career in several different directions—including community pharmacy practice, the
pharmaceutical industry (clinical research), academia, and now working for a Critical Illness Recovery Hospital. Dr. Kimbrough-Waters is an active member of the American Pharmacist Association (APhA), Georgia Society of Health System Pharmacists (GSHP) and Phi Delta Chi Professional Pharmacy Fraternity.
